Grace.

Hi, I'm Grace. 

Aspiring journalist, actual sales assistant, who has decided to quit her job/life and go backpacking through Europe. 

DISCLAIMER: I am fully aware of how my life currently sounds like the start of a terrible romcom/quarter life crisis, but trust me, I think, I'm pretty sure I know what I’m doing. I hope.

I have never been much of a home bird and have dreamed of running, arms flailing, from my home town of Nuneaton for as long as I can remember. But, as with most stories, life gets in the way. Jobs, commitments and just a general fear for the monstrous expanse of land that looms outside of my bedroom walls, has kept me in Nuneaton. I now find myself approaching my 21^st year on this planet, doing the same things I have been doing for years and wondering where did the fun go? What’s anchoring me to this spot, out of all the places in the entire world?

After a chance encounter with a solo traveller in Prague, I have made it my mission to see and do whatever I want before I get attached to a mortgage, or a baby or a puppy.

Hopefully I’ll be able to keep this blog up-to-date as I wander around the globe with stories, advice and tips for anybody, who like myself, has found themselves wanting more.
